German multi-regional OpenStack Cloud connected to CloudBroker Platform. DEStack is the largest distributed OpenStack Cloud in Germany. De:stack is the project of ScaleUp Technologies GmbH & Co. KG, providing data centers in Berlin and Hamburg and HKN GmbH, with data centers in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. Together, they built the new IaaS cloud platform de:stack based on OpenStack.
Both companies look back on more than 20 years of experience in IT and decided to foster the GDPR-compliant alternative, de:stack, to the cloud offerings of AWS, Google, and others. The German Cloud provider particularly addresses the needs of small and medium-sized companies and has open standards.
The extension particularly covers the basic functionality, such as instance/job run, deployment generation, key pair / dns / attachable storage / firewall rules assignment is supported (both GUI and API) by the CloudBroker Platform, at the moment.
